Reports have emerged that the Barcelona defender has refused to comment on speculation about his future following links to a move to Manchester United.
The centre-back has been heavily linked with a move to Old Trafford in recent months, as the club plan to strengthen their defensive options. United are likely to sign two players in that position this summer.
Barcelona are keen to tie Araujo down to a new deal beyond his current contract which expires in June 2026 but he is yet to show any commitment to putting pen to paper.
When questioned about a potential move to another club, Araujo said: “I am 100% focused on the Copa America, I don’t want to think about anything else. I’m not going to answer you about this.”
