According to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Manchester United midfielder Donny van de Beek is set to join La Liga side Girona, here we go!
Romano reports that van de Beek’s initial transfer fee is only €500,000, but includes a series of add-ons linked to appearances and performance.
Some of the easier add-ons are worth around €4-5 million, while the total add-ons could reach €15 million.
Van de Beek will sign with Girona until 2028, with a clause for a percentage of any future transfer fees.
The 27-year-old spent the second half of last season on loan at Bundesliga side Eintracht Frankfurt, making eight appearances in the league. Now, he will embark on a new chapter in La Liga and have the chance to play in the Champions League again.
