Sevilla’s loan for Lokonga also includes a €12 million purchase option and a 25% resale clause. Both sides have agreed on the terms of the agreement and an official announcement is expected this weekend.
Lokonga is 24 years old and plays as a midfielder. He was loaned to Luton by Arsenal last season, making 19 appearances, scoring 1 goal and providing 3 assists. After joining Arsenal in 2021, Lokonga failed to establish himself in the team and was subsequently loaned to Crystal Palace and Luton. Lokonga’s contract with Arsenal expires in the summer of 2026.
