Real Sociedad and Manchester City have reached an agreement for the transfer of Sergio Gómez. The Catalan player has signed with Real Sociedad until 2030.
Sergio Gómez was born on September 4, 2000, in Badalona. After a year in the youth academy of RCD Espanyol, he joined Barcelona’s La Masia, where he went through all the youth ranks. In 2018, he was signed by Borussia Dortmund, playing initially with the B team but making his first-team debut in the same season. He was then loaned to Huesca for two seasons, helping them to gain promotion to La Liga. His great performances in Huesca earned him a move to Anderlecht, and after excelling in the Belgian league he joined Manchester City in 2022.
An international with Spain at youth level, he is currently with the Olympic team preparing for the Paris Olympics, and will join us once his commitment with the national team is over.
