July 27 – According to transfer guru Fabrizio Romano, a deal in principle has been reached for 23-year-old defender, Jack O’Brien to join Premier League side Everton.
The move is yet to be fully finalised as O’Brien still needs to agree to personal terms. The Toffees are reportedly offering a five-year contract. Romano claims that if O’Brien agrees to the terms, he will undergo a medical tomorrow.
The 23-year-old, who plays as a centre-back, made 32 appearances for Lyon last season, all from the start, scoring 5 goals and providing 2 assists. He received one red card and is currently valued at €12m.
