Ligue 1 club Olympique de Marseille have officially announced the signing of Malmo defender Cornelius.
The 26-year-old Cornelius joined Malmo from Major League Soccer’s Vancouver Whitecaps in 2023, making 12 appearances in the Swedish top flight this season, scoring two goals. He also represented Canada at this year’s Copa America, making five starts.
According to media reports, the transfer fee for Cornelius is €3.5 million and he will sign a four-year contract with Marseille.
