Ligue 1 club AS Monaco have officially announced that striker Myron Boadu has joined Bundesliga side VfL Bochum on loan until the end of the season.
The 23-year-old Boadu came through the youth ranks at AZ Alkmaar and joined Monaco for €17 million in 2021. He made 10 appearances for the club last season, scoring one goal. In February of this year he was loaned out to Twente, but he still failed to regain his form.
It is understood that Boadu’s loan deal includes a €10 million purchase option, which will be activated automatically if Bochum stay up this season.
