August 12, Marseille officially announced that Argentina goalkeeper Geronimo Rulli has joined the club from Ajax. It is reported that Rulli will sign with Marseille until June 2027.

We are delighted to announce the signing of Geronimo Rulli from Ajax. The 32-year-old goalkeeper has signed with Olympique de Marseille after successfully passing his medical.
Rulli trained at Estudiantes de La Plata in Argentina and began his professional career at his training club on April 9, 2013, at the age of 20. He joined Real Sociedad in 2014 and played 180 games for the Basque club, attracting the attention of Argentina national team coach Scaloni. In September 2018, the 1.89m tall goalkeeper was called up to the Argentina national team for the first time and then joined Montpellier in the summer of 2019. He moved to Ajax in 2022 and only made seven appearances last season.
Rulli won the 2022 World Cup with the Argentina national team, the 2024 Copa America, and the 2022 Super Cup between South America and Europe. He also joined the Argentina Olympic team for the Paris Olympics this summer and was eliminated in the quarterfinals, losing to the silver medalist France.
