On July 4th, France U23 head coach Henry announced the final 18-man roster for the Paris Olympics. Lacazette and Cherki are included, and four players have been added to the reserve list.
Compared to the initial 25-man roster announced in early June, nine players have been cut due to club refusal to release them and other reasons. They are: Lucas Chevalier, Robin Risser, Diakité, Esteve, Yoro, Kefren Thuram, Warren Zaire-Emery, Barcola, and Mathys Tel.
