On August 9, FC Cincinnati announced that Major League Soccer has terminated the contract of forward Aaron Boupendza, effective immediately.

Boupendza made a total of 35 appearances for FC Cincinnati across all competitions, scoring nine goals and providing five assists.

FC Cincinnati did not specify the reason for Boupendza’s termination in their announcement, however, sources within the league have revealed that Boupendza failed to meet his contractual obligations.
