Los Angeles Galaxy have announced the signing of Marco Reus on a deal until the end of 2026, a period of two-and-a-half years.
Reus, 35, joined Borussia Dortmund’s youth system in 1995. After spells with Rot-Weiss Ahlen and Borussia Mönchengladbach, he returned to the Westfalenstadion in the summer of 2012.
Reus made 429 appearances for Dortmund, scoring 170 goals and providing 131 assists before his contract expired this summer. He has also been voted German Footballer of the Year three times.
LA Galaxy are having a stellar season in MLS, currently sitting atop the Western Conference with a record of 14-7-5 after 26 games. They have 49 points.
