Dutch media outlet Voetbal Zone reports that Dutch international Calvin Stengs is set to leave Feyenoord for a move to Major League Soccer.
According to reports, Feyenoord have reached an agreement with MLS side Charlotte FC for Stengs to move to the league for a transfer fee of €8 million, and he will sign a four-year deal with Charlotte FC.
25-year-old Stengs’ contract with Feyenoord runs until 2027, Charlotte FC are able to offer him a lucrative salary, so the player’s agreement seems to be a formality. Last season, Stengs scored 6 goals and provided 14 assists in the Eredivisie.
