Chelsea will face League One side Wrexham in a pre-season friendly on July 25th at 10:30. If you don’t know Wrexham, that’s okay, but their owner is quite famous: Canadian star Ryan Reynolds, who plays the Marvel superhero Deadpool.
The 48-year-old star’s new film “Deadpool vs. Wolverine” will be released on July 26th. Recently, the star of Wolverine appeared with Ryan Reynolds at Wrexham’s club stadium to promote the new film.
In 2022, Reynolds also filmed two football documentary series starring himself, “Welcome to Wrexham” Season 1 and 2, which was based on his own club and was nominated for 6 Emmy Awards.
