According to reporter Ma Dexing, the China National Team will hold a 10-day training camp in Dalian, preparing for the match against Japan from all aspects, including tactics, set pieces, and more.
The report states that while the Chinese Super League has made schedule concessions for the 18-strong tournament, there is no room for adjustment in the schedule of the Chinese FA Cup. Therefore, after consultation with the FA, national team coach Ivan Kovac decided to change the original training camp start date of August 18th to August 23rd, allowing the Chinese FA Cup quarterfinals to proceed as scheduled, while the national team will not arrange any warm-up matches before facing Japan.
This means that from assembling in Dalian on August 23rd to departing for Tokyo on September 2nd, the national team will have 10 days of training in Dalian. It is reported that during this period, the coaching staff will arrange for the national team to practice twice a day, fully preparing for the match against Japan, including tactical analysis of the Japanese team, response to key players, and intensive set piece drills.
Upon arrival in Japan, the national team will have two training sessions to help the players adapt to the local weather and field conditions.
