Marcus, a reporter for the Times of India, reported that former Vietnam national team manager Park Hang-seo recently submitted an application to coach the Indian national team, but his request was rejected by the All India Football Federation.
The All India Football Federation recently appointed Igor Štimac as manager. Štimac’s current contract with FC Goa runs until 2025, when he will become India’s full-time manager.
In addition, while Park Hang-seo failed to get the India job, he is still likely to receive an attractive contract. Cambodia’s national team is also interested in him.
