According to L’Équipe, MLS side LAFC wants to sign French star Antoine Griezmann.
This season, two French World Cup winners, Lloris and Giroud, joined LAFC, so the team wants to sign Griezmann as well.
Griezmann currently has one year left on his contract with Atlético Madrid, and his contract includes a €10 million release clause. Therefore, LAFC is willing to sign him this summer or wait until next summer to sign him for free.
The report also stated that if Griezmann agrees to join LAFC, he will receive a super contract second only to Messi’s in Inter Miami, and become the second highest-paid player in MLS.
