Today, the Jilin Provincial Sports Bureau officially announced that former China Women’s National Team head coach Shui Qingxia has signed with Changchun Dazhong Zhuoyue Women’s Football Club to serve as the team’s head coach.
Shui Qingxia, 58, officially became the head coach of the China Women’s National Team in 2021. During her tenure, she led the team to win the 2022 Asian Cup. Due to the China Women’s National Team’s failure to qualify for the Paris Olympics, Shui Qingxia stepped down as head coach in November 2023.
Changchun Dazhong Zhuoyue Women’s Football Team currently competes in the Chinese Women’s Super League. After 12 rounds of competition, the team is currently undefeated with 7 wins and 5 draws, accumulating 26 points and ranking 3rd in the standings.
