Danish Superliga club Copenhagen has officially announced the signing of former Danish international Delaney.
The 32-year-old Delaney, a midfielder, is a product of Copenhagen’s youth academy and has also played for Borussia Dortmund, Sevilla, and others. Last season, Delaney was loaned to Anderlecht in the Belgian Pro League. He officially parted ways with Sevilla at the end of the season.
This will also be Delaney’s return to his former club after seven years. In the first round of the Danish Superliga next season, Copenhagen will face a challenge against Lyngby away. Delaney is expected to make his return debut then.
