The All India Football Federation (AIFF) has officially announced that Manolo Marquez will be the new coach of the Indian national team.
Marquez has extensive coaching experience in Spain, having coached Las Palmas and Las Palmas B, Espanyol B, Badalona, Prat, and Europa (third division).
It is worth noting that he will also be coaching the Indian Super League side Goa. Marquez has been coaching in India since 2020. He has coached two ISL teams – his first stint was with Hyderabad, after which he switched to FC Goa (2023-present). He helped Hyderabad FC win the championship in 2021-22.
