Serie B club Coritiba have officially announced that head coach Matias has been sacked.
Matias only took over Coritiba on July 13th, but has managed just one win, three draws and four losses in eight games in charge, including a recent run of six games without a victory. After the team suffered a heavy 0-4 away defeat to Santos this round, the management finally decided to make a change.
As a relegated team this season, Coritiba are currently 14th in the league with 20 points after 17 rounds. They will host Chapecoense in their next match.
