On July 31, Bayern Munich officially announced that Chinese goalkeeper Liu Shaozhiyang has joined Austrian second-tier club SV Horn on a permanent transfer.
Bayern Munich Football Club official wrote: “We hereby announce that Liu Shaozhiyang will permanently transfer to Horn Football Club in Austria. We wish you all the best in your future, and to reach even greater heights!”
Liu Shaozhiyang, 20 years old, comes from Wuhan Three Towns’ youth training program and joined Bayern Munich II in December 2021. In the following seasons, Liu Shaozhiyang was loaned out by Bayern to Austrian teams for training, successively joining Klagenfurt, AK Graz and Ried on loan. Last season, Liu Shaozhiyang made 13 appearances for Ried in the Austrian third-tier league.
This time, Liu Shaozhiyang left Bayern on a permanent transfer to SV Horn in the Austrian second-tier league. Last season, the team finished 8th in the league.
