Former Japanese national team star Keisuke Honda has signed a one-match contract with Bhutan’s record-breaking Paro FC.
This marks Honda’s first return to competitive football since 2021. The experienced former international will be playing on August 13th against Nepal’s Church Boys United in a bid to qualify for the AFC Challenge Cup.
This will also be the 10th country Honda has played in during his career. Honda represented Japan in three World Cups and played for clubs in several countries.
