Lacazette: ‘Full of gratitude’ for Henry and believes he should stay as manager

At 0:00 am on August 10th, France lost 3-5 to Spain in extra time in the men’s Olympic football final. French Olympic team player Lacazette spoke to the media after the match.

Lacazette said: “I have mixed feelings right now because I lost in the final, but on the other hand, I was able to bring a medal back to France. The two teams scored a total of 8 goals in this match, which was crazy for the audience and the players.”

When asked about France’s Olympic manager Thierry Henry, Lacazette said: “I am full of gratitude for Henry. He trusted me and allowed me to wear the France jersey again. I can’t speak highly enough of his qualities. If you ask me, he should stay as manager of the team.”

Lacazette was included in the French Olympic team as an overage player and under Henry, he became captain and wore the number 10 shirt for the team. In the Olympics, Lacazette contributed one goal and one assist.
