August 9, according to renowned journalist Fabrizio Romano, Tottenham Hotspur full-back Emerson has been confirmed to join Italian giants AC Milan. The total transfer fee is €15 million.
Emerson, 25 years old, primarily plays as a right-back, but can also play in multiple positions like center-back and wing-back. Last season, he played 22 games for Tottenham, scoring one goal.
Reports suggest Emerson had already agreed to join AC Milan in May, despite receiving offers from four to five other clubs, he was committed to joining Milan.
He will soon travel to Milan to undergo a medical and finalize the transfer.
