August 7 According to transfer journalist Ben Jacobs, Riyadh Victory midfielder Seko Fofana is close to joining another Saudi Pro League team, Dammam Cooperation, on loan.
The journalist claims that Dammam Cooperation will be paying Fofana’s wages and a deal is expected to be reached soon.
The 29-year-old Fofana joined the club last summer for €25 million but lost his place in the team after the arrival of Brozovic. He has only made 25 appearances for Riyadh Victory, 18 of them starts, scoring 3 goals and providing 1 assist. He was loaned to Dammam Cooperation in January this year. His current market value is €16 million. His contract with Riyadh Victory expires in June 2026.
