On August 9, Bayern Munich officially announced that 22-year-old Spanish winger Zaragoza has joined La Liga side Osasuna on loan for one season.
Zaragoza joined Bayern Munich from Granada in the January transfer window this year for a fee of €13 million. However, after the transfer, Zaragoza was unable to find a suitable position at Bayern, having only played 7 times in the Bundesliga so far, averaging 24 minutes per game, with no goals or assists to his name.
Now, after only half a season at the club, Zaragoza will be leaving Bayern on loan, returning to La Liga.
Osasuna officials also stated that Zaragoza’s loan does not include a purchase option, and they will pay Bayern €250,000 in loan fees.
