Preston announced on the evening of August 12 that Ryan Lowe is no longer the club’s manager.

We can confirm that manager Ryan Lowe has left the club by mutual consent. We would like to thank Ryan for his hard work and wish him all the best for the future. Ryan Lowe leaves with the thanks of everyone at the club for his hard work, dedication and commitment, and we wish him and his family all the best for the future. Mike Marsh will be in charge of the team for the upcoming games against Sunderland and Swansea this week. Arrangements beyond those two fixtures will be announced next week.

Ryan Lowe is 45 years old and has previously managed Bury and Plymouth. In December 2021, Ryan Lowe became Preston manager.
