According to The Times Liverpool correspondent Paul Joyce, 19-year-old Liverpool midfielder Bobby Clark is set to join Red Bull Salzburg for a fee of £10 million.
Clark joined Liverpool from Newcastle United’s academy in 2021, and has gradually started to earn first-team opportunities in the past two seasons, but has not yet established a regular starting spot.
According to reports, Clark’s transfer fee is £10 million, with a 17.5% sell-on clause, while Liverpool have retained a buy-back option on the player.
It is worth noting that Red Bull Salzburg’s new manager is former Liverpool assistant manager Matt Lindstrom, and the two will now be working together again in Austria.
