According to a report by a reporter from the Beijing Youth Daily, the Chinese men’s national team’s preparation plan for the two World Cup qualifiers round of 16 matches in September has been finalized. The team will depart from Dalian on September 2nd and head to Tokyo, Japan, to participate in the away match against Japan on September 5th.
According to the report, the Chinese national team will stay at a hotel located in downtown Tokyo during their time in Japan, with training grounds arranged at a closed facility near the hotel. It’s worth noting that the national team’s training during this training camp will be held in the evening, as both matches against Japan and Saudi Arabia will be played in the evening.
Furthermore, Chinese national team head coach Ivan Kovačević conducted an on-site inspection of Qingdao, the venue for the national team’s home match against Indonesia in October, on August 14th. The inspection covered training grounds, competition venues, hotels, and transportation conditions. Similar to his stay in Dalian, he specifically “tried out” staying at the national team’s hotel in Qingdao for a night and expressed his satisfaction with all aspects of the Qingdao home ground.
Afterward, Ivan Kovačević will also watch two key matches in this round of the Chinese Super League, Beijing Guoan vs Zhejiang and Shanghai Shenhua vs Shanghai SIPG, in Beijing and Shanghai respectively.
