August 23rd, According to Korean media outlet “Chosun Sports,” the new head coach of the South Korean men’s national football team, Hong Myung-bo, will hold a press conference at 10:00 am on August 26th to announce the latest (and his first) roster for the South Korean national team.
Previously, under Jurgen Klinsmann’s reign, the traditional press conference to announce the roster was discontinued. Players were interviewed via video after they were called up. Fans were disappointed by Klinsmann’s unilateral actions.
