The “Beijing Youth Daily” further analyzed that in order to optimize the refereeing level of the domestic professional league and strengthen communication with all parties including clubs, the Chinese Football Association has specially launched a new system of “professional league controversial penalty review and public review results” this season. However, affected by factors such as the business capabilities of some local referees and the effectiveness of VAR and other technological means, there are still occasional wrong and missed judgments in professional leagues at all levels, and some serious wrong and missed judgments directly affect the outcome of the game, damaging the competitive interests of the relevant participating parties.
