The groups for the 2026 World Baseball Classic have been officially announced. Three Asian powerhouses, Japan, Korea, and Australia, are all in Group C, while two of the favorites, USA and Mexico, are in Group B.

Group C: Japan, Australia, Korea, Czech Republic, Qualifier
Group D: Venezuela, Dominican Republic, Netherlands, Israel, Qualifier
The group stage will begin on March 5th, with the final taking place on March 17th at LoanDepot Park, home of the Miami Marlins. Japan beat the USA 3-2 in the previous Classic to claim the championship.
