According to Thai media outlet Siam Sports, Sriphan said when looking forward to the match: “The team didn’t reach 100% in the pre-season, for example, foreign player Ajic was resting for 2-3 months before, and his body wasn’t fully prepared. Then he got injured in the pre-season and is now working hard to recover.”

Regarding Shandong Taishan, Sriphan emphasized: “This match will be very tough. The Thai League just started, and our team will also play in the Asian Champions League. The team is evaluating the players’ physical condition. Our physical fitness may not be as good as the opponent’s, but based on my understanding of the players, I think the team is ready, and we hope we can win this match.”

According to reports from domestic media outlet Sports Weekly, Bangkok United is more likely to field only 3 of the 6 foreign players in the starting lineup, including Brazilian center-back Everton, Omani striker Gassani, and Palestinian winger Eed.
