Tao Yuan, born on January 18, 1993 in Anqing, Anhui, is 180cm tall and weighs 78kg. He plays as a winger/wing-back. He was selected for the 2014 Asian Games Chinese U23 team. Tao Yuan started his professional career at Jiangsu Suning in 2014 and has played for Nanjing City, Guangxi Pingguo Haly, Sichuan Jiuniu (Shenzhen Xinpengcheng), and Qingdao Red Lions. He has rich experience in the Chinese League One and won the 2015 Chinese FA Cup. He joined the Guangxi Pingguo Haly Guojing football team on loan in the summer transfer window of 2024.
It is reported that this is the second time Tao Yuan has played for the Guangxi Pingguo Haly Guojing team.
