According to French media outlet Foot Mercato, Ligue 1 club Rennes are about to sign Danish midfielder Glenn Beyer from Bodø/Glimt.
Rennes have offered Bodø/Glimt a fee of €15 million, while the player has also reached an agreement with Rennes to sign a 5-year contract. Negotiations between the two clubs are still ongoing, and if the deal is finally reached, Beyer will also break the transfer fee record for Bodø/Glimt’s sale of players.
23-year-old Beyer joined Bodø/Glimt from Danish club Aarhus in August 2022. This season, he has played 14 times in the Norwegian Eliteserien, scoring 8 goals and providing 2 assists, currently topping the Norwegian Eliteserien scoring charts.
