Thiago began his professional career at Barcelona’s La Masia academy and went on to play for three of the biggest clubs in the world: Barcelona, Bayern Munich, and Liverpool. In 2020, Thiago joined Liverpool for a fee of £22 million, making 98 appearances for the Reds and scoring three goals with six assists.
Thiago wrote on social media: “I will always be grateful for everything I’ve received and thankful for the time I’ve enjoyed. Thank you, football. Thank you to everyone who has accompanied me along the way, you have made me a better player and a better person.”
