BBC reports that Wales legend Craig Bellamy is set to become the new manager of the Welsh national team.
Bellamy will replace Rob Page, who was sacked last month. Bellamy currently works for Burnley, having served as interim manager of the club before the appointment of Scott Parker last week. Bellamy and Burnley are yet to agree on the final details of the transfer.
Bellamy has long expressed his desire to manage the national team and met with the FAW last week. Bellamy’s first game in charge will be on September 6th against Turkey at home in the Nations League.
