Van Nistelrooy is also a strong candidate for the Burnley managerial position, replacing Vincent Kompany. Van Nistelrooy will make a final decision this week. The 47-year-old played for Man United from 2001 to 2006, making 219 appearances, scoring 150 goals and providing 30 assists.
