According to exclusive reports from HITC, West Ham United have re-opened negotiations with Manchester United for Aaron Wan-Bissaka.
West Ham have been in talks with several right-backs this summer, but they have yet to finalize a deal. With just under a month until the start of the Premier League season, they are now looking to finalise a deal. The Hammers had previously held talks with Manchester United over Wan-Bissaka, but the two clubs failed to reach an agreement and the deal was put on hold.
West Ham then signed defender Kilman from Wolves and brought in a number of other defensive players. New manager Julen Lopetegui was hoping to completely overhaul the backline, but his plans were hit with a roadblock in the pursuit of Bayern defender Mazraoui. The Hammers failed to reach an agreement with Mazraoui and the deal fell apart.
It is understood that Mazraoui wants to join Manchester United and the Red Devils are keen to bring him in. To make room for the Moroccan, they need to sell Wan-Bissaka, which has given West Ham renewed hope of getting their man. The Hammers have therefore re-opened talks with Manchester United.
