According to an exclusive report from The Sun, Besiktas are looking to cut their wage bill and hope to have an English club take Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain on loan and cover his wages.
The report states that the 30-year-old Chamberlain made 30 appearances for Besiktas last season, but has been placed on the transfer list following the arrival of manager, Vincent Kompany.
It is understood that alongside Chamberlain, the likes of Masuaku, Amajid, Aboubakar and Rebic are also considered to be assets for sale.
It is understood that Brentford and Sheffield United were both interested in signing Chamberlain last summer, but ultimately a deal didn’t materialize.
