Seven months ago, Manchester City star Jack Grealish’s home was robbed, costing him over £1 million, but now, more than half a year later, police still have no leads on the thieves.
According to the Sun, Grealish is extremely worried that the thieves have not been caught. Last December, while Grealish was away playing for Manchester City against Everton, his house was robbed, with jewellery and watches worth £1 million stolen. Sources say Grealish is still haunted by the fact that the suspects haven’t been apprehended.
“Grealish is worried they’ll never be caught, it’s playing on his mind and it’s had a serious impact on his family. Seven months have passed and nobody has been arrested. The police keep saying they’re still investigating, but people are worried they’ve fled to a foreign country. Grealish is very concerned they’ll come back again.”
Apart from Grealish, other footballers who have suffered similar incidents include Joao Cancelo, Raheem Sterling, Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, Paul Pogba and Angel Di Maria.
