July 24th Chelsea captain Reece James spoke to the media ahead of the game against Wrexham, alongside head coach Mauricio Pochettino. He also responded to the controversial incident involving teammate Enzo Fernandez.
Reece James said, “This is a very, very tough situation. Enzo Fernandez has apologized and admitted that he was wrong, and then apologized to the club and the team.”
“I have had private conversations with him and spoken to everyone in the team, but I will keep those conversations private.” Reece James added.
When asked about his goals for the new season, “My aim is to be able to play on the pitch consistently.”
