Former Tottenham star Jamie O’Hara has spoken out about Manchester United forward Marcus Rashford, saying that despite his poor form last season, he believes Spurs should try to sign the young star.
O’Hara said: “I’m a big fan of Rashford, I don’t know why. He frustrates me sometimes watching him, you know he was strolling around in the Luton game, but then other times I think he’s got a bit of stardust about him, he can do more. If you can find a manager that can get the best out of him, he’s going to be top, top drawer.”
“He’s not seeing eye to eye with Ten Hag at the moment, that’s something they need to fix. You can’t have a player on £375,000 a week sitting on the bench, he needs to play, try to force his way into the team. He’s got great runs, but nobody’s passing to him. Would you pay £80million for him? I would, I’d love to see him at Tottenham.”
Last season, Rashford scored just seven goals and provided two assists in the league, playing 681 minutes less than the previous campaign.
