Bournemouth have announced that they have extended the contract of defender Zabarnyi until 2029.
Zabarnyi, 21, came through the ranks at Dynamo Kyiv and joined Bournemouth in January 2023 for a fee of €22.7 million. He made 42 appearances for the Cherries last season, scoring one goal. At international level, Zabarnyi was included in Ukraine’s squad for this summer’s European Championships and played all three group games.
