When asked about the future of his club and national teammate Guimarães, Joelinton said: “Guimarães has a great connection with the Newcastle fans, he enjoys his life in Newcastle, I think he’s happy with his life and how he’s playing, everyone at Newcastle wants him to be happy here for many years. I think he’ll stay, he told me he’ll be back next week to prepare for the season.”
