Following Fulham’s official announcement of the free transfer signing of former player Sessegnon, Liverpool have become the only Premier League team yet to make any signings this summer.
So far, Aston Villa, who will be playing in the Champions League next season, have been the most active team in the transfer market, completing a total of 8 signings, including the likes of Amadou Onana and Matson, for a total spend of €176 million.
In contrast, Liverpool, under new manager Slott, have yet to make any signings for their senior team, apart from the return of some loan players.
Slott previously addressed the team’s inactivity in the transfer market during a press conference, stating that he wants to wait for the full Liverpool squad to return before further evaluating the team’s needs.
