July 24 – According to Sky Sports’ latest news, the transfer of Calafiori from Bologna to Arsenal has been completed. Arsenal will pay a transfer fee of €50 million, and the two sides will sign a contract until 2029, with an annual salary of €3.5 million plus a bonus of €500,000.
Calafiori, 22, is a defender who can play as a left-back and left-center-back in a four-back formation. He came through the youth ranks of Roma and last season made 33 appearances for Bologna, starting 27 times, scoring two goals and providing five assists. The player is currently valued at €45 million.
