July 22 – According to multiple transfer journalists, including Romano and Sky Sports, Aston Villa winger Moussa Diaby is about to join Al-Ahli for a fee of around €60 million. Diaby is set to sign a contract with Al-Ahli until 2028, with an option for a further year.
Diaby, 25, is a left-footed winger who came through the ranks at Paris Saint-Germain. He has played for Crotone and Bayer Leverkusen before joining Aston Villa for €55 million in the summer of 2023. Last season, he made 54 appearances, 36 starts, scoring 10 goals and providing 9 assists. His current market value is €55 million.
