REVERSE! West Ham and Bayern Munich break down talks over Mazraoui transfer, Manchester United rekindle hope

On the evening of July 26th, Sky Sports reported that West Ham and Bayern Munich have broken down talks over a transfer for Mazraoui, reigniting Manchester United’s hopes.

Earlier today, Sky Sports reported that Bayern and West Ham had agreed on a transfer fee for Mazraoui (€15.5 million base fee + €4 million in bonuses). However, they are now reporting that while an agreement was in place between the two clubs, Bayern and West Ham have failed to reach an agreement on financial and contractual details, leading to a breakdown in negotiations. West Ham are now said to be pursuing other targets, having contacted Wan-Bissaka and Walker-Peters.

Meanwhile, Manchester United are still interested in Mazraoui and are in talks with Bayern. There had been reports that United were willing to swap Wan-Bissaka for Denzel Dumfries with Inter Milan.
