On July 31, Chelsea officially announced the signing of Villarreal goalkeeper Jorgensen.
Jorgensen is 22 years old and came through the Villarreal youth academy, being promoted to the first team in 2021. Last season Jorgensen played 37 games for Villarreal, making 143 saves.
It is reported that Chelsea paid Villarreal a transfer fee of €24.5 million to sign Jorgensen.
